ahhhhh!!! Lydia you picked my two favorite series on purpose!!!!!:shuriken: hmmm...maybe i'll have to stop telling you my favorite things! lol jk!
Elsie Dinsmore: it's about a girl who, in the begining was raised by her(aunt?)
and then her father came home to raise her and they got really close but her father wasn't a Christian and she was. One day when her father was sick (on a Sunday) he asked her to read a book other than the Bible and she didn't do it, to make a long story short, he eventually left her with her (aunt??) who was very cruel, then she got sick and was almost dead by the time her father came back. and then he got saved and they moved into their own house and then he got married then she got married blah blah blah.
Abrams daughters: is about an amish family. (i'll post the description off the first book) (never mind there is no description lol) it's about these girls going through their rum...(how do you spell that word??lol) anyhow their running around years and one of them get's into some trouble and the other one gets baptized into the church. and then there's a heart breaking split up of a couple because of someones meddling and 2 unmarried birth and....i'm not making this sound very good am i?? lol. uhh...go buy it and read it.
i also have more books written by the same author, the heritage of lancaster county, annies people, the redemption of sarah cain, oh i could go on and on but this post is long enough lol!

I thought the Elsie ones were too sappy, so I only read part of the first one. My favorites are the Zion Covenant, Zion Chronicles, and Zion Legacy by Brock & Brodie Thoene (sp?).

I like the Abram's Daughters and have them because my gramma bought them for Christmas, but I don't really read that much fiction on a regular basis. I do like some of the other books by the same author, Beverly Lewis, but some of them have way too much romance in them. Yuck!!!!
I prefer astronomy books (I know like, almost all of the constellations) and cookbooks (I absolutely love to cook!!!). I spend more time watching Gaither and Southern Gospel concert DVDs on my little mini DVD player. Also dart and knife throwing, but that's another subject entirely.
