I am curious to find out how big the families are out there, and where you are in the count. I'll start. I have 4 sisters and 2 brothers. Seven of us total. Only one married. Yet. And I am #5. Who's next? Anyone?

Hmm well lets see. 6 in my family, Mom, Pop, Me, 2 brothers and last but not least my sister. The 2nd eldest is married with one child. The 3rd is a popluar guy, and he and his g/f have known eachother for 2 years, So I guess that makes her part of the family?. My sister and I hang out all the time, and untill I or her get hitched, she has my date for the movies (she has all the money cause I am always broke LOL) And while technically not in our family yet ;) My best friend in china, so lets see makes 8? sorta. :D

Question: do you count a pet as an active family member, or an honorary member? If active, then at one point and time, we had plus 5 members. (2 cats, a dog, a guinea pig, and a horse.)

What a full house collegegirl. I have no pets, we had some dogs once but my brothers never took care of them and my dad hates cats no i guess that's no pets for me. i have don't mind having a horse though i think it would be really nice.

collegegirl

Well, if you have time, they are wonderful animals. Dad doesn't care too much for cats either, and right now, the landlord probably wouldn't like it.

There are seven of us in the family, me, my older sisters who also are members here (esther, morning_mist) and 2 are my brothers. If pets are included then there would be 11 of us, my dog Duchess and 2 unnamed naughty cats. Used to have doves but they're all gone now . Was able to pet a chicken and a pig too. :D

collegegirl

i got it wrong! i've studied accounting but i don't even know how to add..just like when i took the examination in the bank last saturday, i forgot how to make a bank reconciliation..

i meant plus the pets, we're all in all 10 in the family :D

collegegirl
11-22-2005, 05:54 PM
:D We understand. A little slip up. No biggie. And you went back and corrected it once you found out that you had made a mistake. The sign of a true accountant. LOL:D

elizabeth
11-22-2005, 06:24 PM
oh yeah..a STUPID one :D ..have forgotten a lot of things i've learned because i haven't really practiced it

blessed
11-22-2005, 06:35 PM
an easy way to practise is by doing a/c for your home....if u all use cheques then you can reconcile that a/c,payables - for bill payments..journal enteries etc..that should be fun..maybe:D

collegegirl
11-22-2005, 08:46 PM
Did accounting as a homeschool curriculum. I had fun and I drove myself crazy trying to fix a penny or two.

Dad, mom, three brothers, three sisters, and way to many other relatives for me to count out (something around middle 60's I think.)

HotShot53

For me it's Dad, Mom, older married brother, me, and younger sister & brother. So it's 5 of us living here now, 7 in the family if you include my older brother and his wife.

And I know it's off topic... but being an accountant I completely agree with collegegirl and blessed... I always try to find the missing pennies when reconciling accounts, even though it probably wastes way more time and money that it is worth...

i graduated high school with the self-promised notion that anything beyond simple calculation was despised and unwelcome within two feet of my personal space.

my bubble.

no numbers allowed.

I have two older siblings...both married with two kids apiece. I'm the after thought child.....8 years behind my sister..and 9 behind my brother...who is in iraq right now. : )

oh yes...i have parents as well.

My friend has a big family too and not many are saved. But, it means more surprises when you get to Heaven because I'm sure they'll be there.

My family is quite small, I think I already mentioned it here. Only 1 bro, 1 sis, parents, and dog. I only have 7 cousins and one on the way.

Big families are totally awesome
Man when we get together around thanksgiving and christmas, it gets LOUD! But I love it anyway.

(Actually, being from a big family I don't like to be home alone. I am used to constant noise around me and the random creaks and groans of an empty house freak me out)
