There used to a forum called International Message Youth (IMY). I think it either no longer exists (used to be at http://imy.says.it/) or it's hanging in cyberspace somewhere, abandoned (I thought I came across it some months ago).

If anyone is on here who was a part of that endeavor, please let me know. I'd really love to have some experienced moderators/threaders* on here.

There's also a forum called "Message Youth" that I believe is a spin off of IMY. It's located here (http://www.activeboard.com/forum.spark?forumID=53068&subForumID=168216). However, that forum is *infested with Aussies and hasn't seen any activity since July.

*Threader - A word I just coined. It means someone who starts threads and/or keeps them going.

*If you're an Aussie, forgive me - I'm just kidding. I like Aussies. Really. They're cool. In a zany sort of way...

YOu know, you sound like one of the guys that works down at my dad's office. He has a knack for stating the obvious. (but then again, I have told him so, and he knows it.)

Christian-Samurai

so then maybe you have this gift also?

collegegirl
11-10-2005, 03:58 PM
Well, when I tell him that, I usually tell him sarcastically, and he laughs. (I mean it to be funny.) I have the gift, I just choose not to utilize it.

Haven't you ever heard of Flat Stanley? He is the coolest. He was flattened when his bulletin board fell on him. he looked kinda normal from the from, but he was about 2 inches thick. They put him in a special envelope and sent him to California. :D He was also used as a kite, and when his father and brother went on walks, they would roll him up and take him with. LOL He could slide under shut doors. It is a really funny kids book. But my point is, how they got him back to round from flat was a bicycle pump. His younger brother stuck it in his mouth and pumped. I really enjoyed the book.
