I think there is only one true form of love inthis world, and that is agape love, Godly love. its the only one that really exists. the rest are just forms of and emulations of love, not really love...like fire on a computer screen, it isnt really fire and it cant really burn, but it looks like fire. it might even look more real at times. but the real fire, now, that burns

Amen! I wouldn't say the others don't exist, rather they are just perversions of Agapao love. Brother Branham said Agapao love is the highest form of love, the rest are perversions, Phileo love being the next down from Agapao, then lust and then unfaithful love or something along those lines. I can't remember the exact quote.

And I'm not entirely certain what your question is Brother Joris but theres no question about the Word that is worthless I'm sure :)

yeah, its so bad in the world. i used to think i had found love only to be dissapointed, but in God, you can always lean on Him who is everlasting and be happy, no matter what happens, He is always there for you.
i have been dissapointed inlove and in life, but when i look up to Jesus, i feel comforted. what more, only in church can you find a guy or a girl who'll love you truly, because they have the love of God in them

See, the world, it doesn't have love, because it doesn't have God. If God is love, and you don't have GOd, then you don't have love. The world has an emotion, a copy of what they've seen of Godly love... but they don't really posses love.

Love is supernatural. Love had no beginning, so it will have no end, it is eternal.

The Phileo love and the Agapao love: one... Both of them is love, but one's love above, and the other is love here on earth.
As I was talking to a reporter today, I said, "The--the love down here, the human love would make you shoot a man on account of your wife, but the love that comes from above would make you pray for his lost soul." Quite different. See? One of them is a love down here on this level, human love, and the other is the love that comes from above.

Faith my friend. Faith.

God's love is more real, more sure, more everything than what you feel.

Feeling loved isn't the issue. The fact that God does love you, that His Word declares He loves you.

Now, will you accept/believe that or wont you. Once you truly accept/believe it...then you'll be getting somewhere my friend.

God's love pouring over you... saying "I love you, I choose you, I died for you... I want you to be my wife..." Oh my...it's almost too much!

Love isn't just emotion my friend... there's alot of "choice" in love. There's action in love.

There is nothing wrong with emotions in of themselves, God feels emotions, he loves, hates, he can get angry and he can be happy. God is a jealous god, jealousy is an emotion.

That said it is easy for Satan to prey upon emotions, so we always got to take things back to the Word. If you're in sin and your happy about it, well you've got something to think about there. But if you're happy because you are a part of the chosen few in the end time, a part of the Bride who is loved by God then I say be happy and rejoice!

Be holy. Love God. Stand by Him. Joris, Jesus doesn't want you to hurt in this way I don't think. I don't know that there is anything I can say to make it all go away, to make you feel what you are longing to feel.

Know that He loves you in that way tho, and I will be praying for a breakthrough in your life.

hmmm?dont think its as worthless as you have put it Joris! and all i can say is its Divine love..which is welll,to me..agapao love...that doth exist.....anything else i term it as an impersonation of the devil! God help me love like You! (correct me if am wrong.)

He would above all thiings that you prosper and be in health.

I think what they are trying to say is, that emotions aren't necessarily what God is looking for. He is looking for rugged faith in the Word of God, whether you feel it or not.

Now true faith in the Word, and a true experience, and a filling of the Holy Ghost will bring emotion...true enough. How can it not! Oh to think of the joy of that wonderful place we will go to! To think of His love for me!! My... lately... I just have been wanting to dive into His presence...

Oh my... Emotion doesn't mean you have something...many things can bring emotion. But rugged faith in the Word of God. My what that will do!!

He wants you to feel loved Joris. Will you first stand on the Word of God and believe He loves you and died for you first tho?
