you have to remember the woman's place, there is a reason only men are preachers.

But what would be wrong if us sister shared a verse everyday.

I don't see anything wrong about posting verses that you like just to share them, but we can't lead our own study of any kind

i dont think any of us sisters were intending to start a study of any kind.
Share your favourite scripture / quote of the day /sermon you've listened to, and how it meant something to you or has blessed you.
I would love to hear it :)

E-21 So a hypocrite, an impostor, he can go to the world and affiliate with the world, and act like the world, and live in the world, and enjoy the pleasures of the world, and come to church and pretend to be a Christian. But the real Christian can't go out into the world and come back; there's something wrong. So that shows...
Show me your company, I will tell you who you are. Let me go into your house and see what you read, let me listen to--see what kind of music you--you have playing. Let me see what kind of magazines, what kind of literature you read. Let me look in your office and see if it's a big bunch of these vulgar pictures of pin-ups and things. And you tell me you're a Christian, I won't say nothing to you; but in my heart I will watch what kind of fruit you're bearing (See?), 'cause that's your diet.
Oh, you say, "I belong to the church. Well now, you no business judging me, Brother Branham." I am not judging you; the Word is a judging you. That's right. Your fruit, your life tells what you are.
----------------------------
Too many people watch / read / listen to what they want to when they think no one is watching - God is always watching, God knows what your diet is. Isn't His opinion the most important?
So i'm trying to be careful about what i'm feeding myself. I'm thinking of going on a little fast for a month or two to rid all of our so called "entertainment", mindless internet surfing, movies, magazines and get a closer walk to Him.
What path of life you are on is determined by what you read, listen to and view... i'm not too happy with mine, are you?
- This post is inspired from a sermon by Bro Jeff Jenkins at Ohio Family Camp 2004, i was there that year but i wasnt there when he preached that sermon but have only just gone back recently and listened to it.
It's fantastic if you wanna be inspired to turn your life around, or walk a better path - go and listen to the sermon. Excellent for the youth ! i know i was blessed!
It's called "be sure you're on the right path" - Sunday 11th July. :)

Here's a verse that means so much to me.
These to scriptures are promises to me.
Matthew chapter 7:7
"Ask and it shall be given unto you; seek and ye shall find; knock and it shall be opened unto you"
As well as
John 15: 7
" If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, Ye shall ask what ye will and it shall be done unto you."

Romans 3:10-12
As it is written: there is none rightous, no not one, there is none that understandeth there is none that seeketh after God. They are all gone out of the way, they are together become unprofitable, there is none that doeth good no not one.
those verses help me remeber that i am not good and that i am nothing without my Savior!:yay:

It's not at all preaching. This is just girls remember? So what about Sunday school? Women do it! Is it preaching? Not it's not. I took part in Bible studies on youth camps and everyone just shared. I don't think that only men can talk about spiritual things. When a sister is Holy-Ghost-filled (and I know I am) then I don't see a problem in it to share with others, have a Bible study maybe or lead Sunday school classes. I haven't written anything in here before, but I've read some posts and I think that too many times the people in here tend to follow the ideas of others. I don't think that people close to ones age are the right ones to give good advice. Go to your fathers, husbands, pastors or even older sisters for advice!

Ephesians 4:7
"But unto every one of us is given grace according to the measure of the gift of Christ."
Ephesians 4:3
"Endeavouring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace."
Ephesians 3:20
" Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think according to the power that worketh in us."
The whole book of Ephesians is awesome.. Our Youth study the book of Ephesians in Biblestudy a couple of months ago...

I agree that is a really great book. One of my favorets is Psalms. Because It explains how I feel and makes me feel Awesome when I feel down. Just the way David says stuff kind of makes me feel like hey you know I'm not alone in this. Sometimes he starts off with wose of how the enomy is oppressing him and by the end he is prasing God. Thats what I reallly like. It just shows that its not bad to tell God the bad things that happen or stuff thats not always postive but By the end when we are in Gods precence we will be prasising him. Why? becuase we know that he is there. How eles could david praise God in the trials unless he knew God was there and that He cared. Also When we praise God in the Bad things we are giveing a Victory shout and making the devil mad.
Why can we praise God??? Becasue we know that we are more then conquerse though him. That no trial what ever it may be is to big for God to master. And just remember that TRIALs are worth more then Gold. Why? Because they build charecter and how can we rain with Christ if we don't have charecter? We can't. Also Have you noticed people that have charecter that really know where they stand? Don't you admire them and wish that you could be like that? I know I do.
