Hmmmm... Are you sure about that???
HotShot53
05-06-2006, 01:23 AM
Hmmmm... Are you sure about that???
Yes, positive. Just cause all gleeps are glops, does not mean all glops are gleeps... so all glops don't have to be gloops either.
jtucker
05-06-2006, 01:51 AM
If all gloops are gleeps and all gleeps are glops... are all glops gloops?
i always think of it like this
if all rolls royces are cars and all cars are automobiles..... are all automobiles rolls royces
so thus the answer is no.

I hadn't even caught that!! But it makes sense with the car thing!
alesha19
05-06-2006, 11:36 AM
Yes! With the cars it makes it sound way more logical (well if you can call what we are talking about logical). With glops and gleeps AND gloops... there is just no hope, you know?
Chemist
05-06-2006, 01:05 PM
Hmmmm... Are you sure about that???
Ok, I hate to be argumentative but..............
All glops, gloops and gleeps are part of the glup family. Most scientists agree that they all evolved from a common origin, the glupus nenamus.
The Chemist sets it straight again!!
:yay:
HotShot53
05-06-2006, 01:22 PM
But even if it was a given that they came from the same origin, that doesn't mean that they are the same now... So your argument doesn't prove anything ;)
Chemist
05-06-2006, 01:33 PM
But even if it was a given that they came from the same origin, that doesn't mean that they are the same now... So your argument doesn't prove anything ;)
......except that at one time they were all the same. I guess the original question should have been framed around a specific time period. So OK, maybe we're both right!
:)
jtucker
05-06-2006, 01:40 PM
well seeing as it's "most scientist agree" we see that it is an opinion of many people, thus it being an opinion does not make it right or true,
Also they question wasn't about origin or previous time spans, but was asked in a present time tense. By trying to say that the question should of been asked in a way to comfort your loss is not winning but only cushining the blow of defeat
but I still love ya man God Bless!

Sounds like Liberal Arts math class to me. We spent several classes talking about flying pigs. Don't ask...
Do you like rubber stamps
do you take the "faxed" stamp and just stamp it for the fun of it
do you color in the circles of the letters when you are bored
do you make paper clip chains
do you ever feel like hunching over and saying "yesssss massstahhhh"
do you have a secret lab
have you ever read Dr. Jerkyll and Mr. Hyde
how many pairs of brown shoes do you have
do you line them up in your closet
how many of your socks have holes in them
how many mirrors do you have in your house
is it a typical, box shaped house
how many corners are in the room you are in
what was your favorite subject in highschool
how long have you been out of highschool
what do you do at your job
are you good at it
do you have siblings?
what is your youngest siblings favorite color
do you know their most abhorred food
ever worn a tri-cornered hat
do you know what time period those were most prevalent in
how did you hear about YQ
What are your Expectations?
