Hi! I'm E***. I was looking for message chat sites, but they're all gone! I found this while I was looking for forums. I remember Youth Quake from years ago when I was a kid at the church in Logan, OH, especially Bro. La Fontaine's article about Hollywood hypocrites. How true that has turned out to be! :(
I wonder, how many people are on this site? I'm stuck in a small town with no transportation (for the Word of God and the Testimony of Jesus Christ, I hope) and I don't have a believers' around except on the weekends. Somebody talk to me please. :hungry:

Hi E,
i know what you mean, all the message chat sites are no more,
i use to get on pirch it was so much fun talking to diff. ppl
and then meeting them at a camp or a meeting but all of a
sudden no one got on no more then it was just a empty room
and it really blessed me to talk with people from all over the world.
But anyways welcome to the forum.

Sorry I'm a bit slow, but I've been housecleaning!
It's very sad about the Message Chats... They just don't seem to hold up. Isn't it funny how people play games and stuff daily, but will hardly stick with Message chats?

Well, I'm not sure that a Message believer have much time to play games... when he set time apart for the Lord and do all the necessary things (school, work, ...)
Although chatting might be cool, it take lot of time...
God Bless

Well Guest,
To some extent I agree with you. IDEALLY, young people should keep themselves so busy that they really don't have time for a whole evening of nothin but chat. Sadly, reality is that a lot of us do. The thing is, I think, that while people have that amount of leisure time, as we age, other priorities come ahead of chatting - like hanging out with real ppl:D
In any case, I hope that doesn't happen here - drying up and disappearing, I mean. The nice thing about a forum is that we can all communicate at our own leisure. AND, I think, it isn't quite as addicting. So we get the benefits of fellowship without the polar opposite of being sucked into an engaging - and often less than worthwhile - five hour chat. Any yeas? Nays?

I must say that I do like the fact that on a forum I don't get sucked into one of those 5-hour-chat convos that usually gravitates around some meaningless topic like the different brands of pickles. lol (Hey, I'm guilty of having some pretty meaningless conversations!)

It's my hope that as more everyone gets to know each other better, gets more comfortable talking, and as more people come, we will have conversations that become more and more meaningful.
That's the kind of fellowship that I believe is at the heart of every believer - a conversation centered around God - it just seems that for various reasons we hardly ever get around to talking about Him when we fellowship.
I agree with the editor!!! Totally!!!!
I've been baptized about 2 years ago and I would REALLY like to talk about any subject concerning God. That's why I joined this forum...
But how to start a conversation???????
Somebody please write something and I everybody join. Come on people...
I would start but don't know how! :(
