For some reason, the times that tell when the last post was are messed up. Right now, they say that the last post in Welcomes was at 8:36 or something like that. Currently, it is 8:15 p.m. So either the time zone thing is messed up on my account or Hotshot posted in the future. I would appreciate any help in this matter.

My first post in here says it was 9:19 when I posted it. It was not, it was about 8:17 pm. So, maybe something got messed up. I checked my User CP and my options and the time is Standard Pacific, which is mine. So, please help! :drowning:

Now that you mention it, the times are an hour ahead of me, too.... it looks like the forum went onto daylight savings time a couple days before we do....

NeedGod
03-31-2006, 02:00 AM
why thank you.
you know something strange, we are always told that we are lazy. that americans wake up early and that is why they have progressed so far. uuuh, i guess they stand corrected after all huh!?

HotShot53
03-31-2006, 02:21 AM
I don't think I've ever been on the forums till 3:30 Joe... not past 1:30 that I can recall.... but late enough ;)

Now-a-days Americans (including me) are pretty lazy... but back when the country was growing they weren't lazy, which is what helped the country to do so well. It's going backwards now...

NeedGod
03-31-2006, 02:26 AM
oh, in that case, we have some catching up to do. thank goodness you americans are kind enough and want to meet us midway:D

HotShot53
03-31-2006, 02:28 AM
Lol, and that is probably what will happen, if the Lord tarries long enough... cause America sure doesn't seem to be going forward at all now.

NeedGod
03-31-2006, 02:33 AM
no worries, who wants to go forward in this world anyhow. of course we have to try hard to make it, but, all the kingdpms in this world must perish and pass away anyhow. so as they go on the downward slope, we should rejoice, coz that means our time to go is near!:yay:

Ok, that's what I was thinking, but I thought it was rather strange. Oh well, life goes on.

Lol, which is why I checked... you never know what slang isn't common elsewhere. Though "cool" is pretty universal.

NeedGod
04-04-2006, 02:05 AM
yeah. but here in Kenya, we speak pretty much American slang. i think its coz of the movies and stuff we watch and listen to

I am having trouble with YQ. I keep getting signed out and it's not because I left it idle too long. I was reading a page of threads, then clicked the back button to go to the previous page, and it logged me out. It's happened almost every time I'm on here. It's very annoying. Any ideas or help?

Delete your cookies. That's more than likely your problem.

I had that problem, and now I click on the "Remember Me" tab every time I log in, and it doesn't do it anymore.

I do, and have. And I am remembered on my own computer, which is mainly the one I use. So it can't be either of those.

Nate

you got it figured out yet?

Babyruth
02-04-2007, 03:00 AM
No. It's quite annoying. I'm not the greatest with this kind of stuff, but I know enough to know that it shouldn't be happening. :D Any other help would be greatly appreciated.

And if you're one of the elite, and you use Mozilla Firefox, CTRL+SHIFT+DELETE clears all your personal data.

Hm... I have a question, my computer is set to automatically delete cookies when I log out, and at other times, should I still bother with deleting them "by hand?"

Hm... I have a question, my computer is set to automatically delete cookies when I log out, and at other times, should I still bother with deleting them "by hand?"

I'd just do it anyway and make sure there's no hangups. If it's not a cookie error, it could be that someone disabled cookies altogether, and that's why it doesn't recognize you.

You could also clear your temp folder. It's likely not the problem, but you should do it anyway.

Anyway, I've had that problem before, and it's always been a cookie problem. If all else fails, just do a rollback. How long's the problem been going on? I think you can roll back up to a month? I dunno. It's been a while since I did one.

Hm... maybe I'll try it. I'm the only one who uses this computer, as it's my laptop, but I can always check. However, at the moment, my sister is puking in the bathroom, and I better see if she needs anything. Thanks for your help though!
