Hi everyone! Finally got registered and able to get in here! It's great to see the Lord using YQN in such a tremendous way. Years ago I used to be editor of YQN (back in the old newsprint day..) and now that I have children of my own it's great to see that the Message youth still have a place to share and encourage one another! May the Lord richly bless each of you!

It's supposed to rain, big surprise, and possibly snow. I will be crossing the mountains, so pray that the snow there isn't too bad and we cross safely.

Famous??!! HA.. that would be a real stretch! Yeah, if you go back and check the archives you'll find my goofy pics in some of the old issues (circa 87-90)... ahh, the good ole days.. wait, that would have been the good YOUNG days...

I tell ya...

You know, the Bible tells us to be happy for our brothers (and sisters), and NOT TO BE JEALOUS!!! Besides, I think that you could call him a westerner. I am a southerner. And what jokes? I have done nothing but tell the truth about the weather, which, by the way, is gorgeous. Ha, just checked the weather, and today it is 71*F, and it feels that way. For the weekend, the highs are going to be in the 80's, and the lows in the 60's. HAHAHA!!! I am going to go driving with all of my windows down. Mind you, that drive might only be to work and back, which is about a 5 minute round trip counting stoplight time, but nevertheless.....When it gets like that, it feels like nighttime at the beach.....


BTW, WELCOME Bro. Mark. Be it known, you will have some kind of nickname, so how about Java? (doesn't it sound like a cup of hot coffee? Which almost sounds good right about now because my hands are freezing!)

Thank you collegegirl... Somehow you hit the nail right on the head! In the past I've used 'Java' as a chat/user name... The cdn is for Canadian and the java part is self-explanatory.

Funny though, I gave up coffee about 3 years ago but I guess old names still stick!

I guess it was one of those rare phenomenons where those sort of things happen. Just watch it, we might end up calling you hot coffee instead after this. :laugh:

Other than the fact that I would roast to death there in the summer, I couldn't even talk there in the fall cause of the dryness... so I don't think I'll be moving there any time soon ;)

Dry...ooooh how I miss dry weather.

Nothing ever dries out here in this Ohio river valley. I never had strep throat in my life till I moved here.

I love the drought periods around here...I know it's terrible, but I can't help it.

I suppose that as long as people lack a moral compass there will always be dishonesty. And if the Lord uses that to provide me with a job then who am I to complain?

On that note, does everyone have their taxes done? haha..
