Profile Pictures

I was looking through the User CP when i came accross "Edit Profile Picture" under Settings and Options. I wanted to put up a picture, but i've been having technical difficulties; I CAN'T FIND A PICTURE SMALL ENOUGH TO BE ACCEPTED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :mad: So... my question is: Is there a way i can make my pictures smaller? :)

You should be able to reduce the image to the dimensions that are required (100 by 100 pixels and no larger than 64 kb) inside your computer's photo program. I'm not sure what program you have, but maybe you have a techie family member that could walk you through the proccess?

Non-members don't even have the option of profile pictures.

As far as posts go, I have had only one scewed post. However, putting restrictions on non-members encourages them to become a member -and a member based forum encourages community.

It also has the undertone of authority. You can't just pop in and post a bunch a ghost (unregistered) posts, pretending to be someone different every time. If you mess up as a member, we know who you are. We can ban your nick and we can ban your ip.

What I don't get is why people become members and then NEVER post. I could see this if we required membership just to view the forums, but that's not the case. You only start to enjoy the benefits of becoming a member if you post. So why bother becoming a member if you don't post? :think:

I have long red braids, 1 dimple on the right cheek, brown eyes, mediam height....hmm...anything else I look a bit like sarafina if any of you have seen the film. :) Anything else you want 2 know?
