Hello to all you fellow girls out there. Thought I'd do a quick introduction of myself so that you wont be confused by my "nick". My husband, Trevor, has been on here for a little while and I've been really enjoying it, so I thought I'd start up myself. My name is Anna May, I'm 28 years old, a stay at home mommy of 2 boys...Zion who will be 5 in June and Azariah who will be 3 in May. I'm also expecting baby #3 in mid-late May. This one is supposed to be a girl and Im very excited about that. Have been wanting a girl from the start.

Anyway...I'm rather new at this and my boys keep my pretty busy, but I'm going to try and keep up.

Hoping to have a great time of fellowship and "just plain girl talk".

-SisTrev

Hey there SisTrev!

Do I know you?? <chuckle> So glad you decided to join.

JoeC, Skype is another chat/voice program. It didn't used to be an option to put in your profile, I assume this is another one of the items that came about as a result of the recent upgrade. www.skype.com (http://www.skype.com)

Welcome to the forums :) Bro. Trevor has been a welcome addition to the boards (as shown by his high reputation), so it's good to see you on here too :)

I've never heard of skype either... why use it rather than MSN/AIM/Yahoo?

why use skype? um...Trevor tells me because its not so annoying. And the voice features are much easier. I just use it because he set it up for me. Saddly, even tho Im married to a computer techie, I dont know very much about computers. You'd think i'd learn after awhile...

Don't worry, you are with the majority of girls... we have a whole discussion on this in another thread, and it was pretty universally agreed that girls aren't as familiar with computers as guys are ;)

Don't let SisTrev's innocent tone when it comes to computers fool you.

She can release and renew her IP address without my help!

Ha ha! Yeah, we can be nerdy I guess. IN the old IRC days we used to be sitting in the same room in the same chat room talking to each other.

Welcome aboard. I love the name Azariah, as well as Misheal and Hananiah. If I had triplets, I would name them that. I see my reputation preceeds me...once again.

Do you drink tea
do you like good old southern sweet tea
do you like hot tea
what is your favorite kind
do you like little yellow fluffy dresses with white lace and daisys on it?
how long till she comes, (we are taking this by faith here :D )
when was the last time that you walked around barefoot outside
do you like sewing or gardening
what was your latest craving
what was your weirdest craving
do you like minivans or cars
what has been your most embarrassing moment when it comes to restaurants and your boys
how many sippy-cups do you have in your cupboard
do you ever drink from them, (without the lid of course), simply because it is easier
how often do you get time to yourself
What are your expectations here on YQ

sad but true...that was when we were first married...Trevor worked from home and there were times when he was very busy...so the only way to talk to him was online...sometimes to make it better i'd go in the livingroom while he was in the bedroom and we'd chat...:dft010:

I think what collegegirl meant was that you were able to turn a not so good situation (not really having time to talk with eachother cause Trevor was so busy) into a good situation by chatting online to eachother...good idea, that must have been funny :)

Lol, I've occasionally typed to someone across the room while playing an online game... but not often. Talking on the phone is a good excuse to do it, though....

Welcome, sister! I read all this in the wrong order. I was asking you about your family in a different thread, and then I come here, and all my questions are answered.

I LOVE the name! Gloria is one of my favouritist names. I always wanted Gloria Shekinah. But Glorianna is even prettier, and I love the Shalom!

Not that I need to worry about names at this stage of my life!

And I'm guilty of that too. Chatting to my brothers, instead of getting up and walking 10 feet to talk to them. And we use it at work too, when someone is on the phone, to tell them to get off the phone and pick up another phone call.

Once again, from one newbie to another, welcome! Looking forward to getting to know you better.

Welcome SisTrev.. even though you've probably been here longer than I have!

My wife and I were positive we were going to have a boy first and ended up with 2 girls before he decided to arrive. They're just lucky neither of them got named Ethan.. haha..

Wow, collegegirl sure can come up with quite the interrogatories..

Ya...good thing for those girls...

I've been really praying hard for a girl. I love my 2 boys but I just wanted a girl so bad. And I had everyone else praying for me too so Im sure the Lord answered my prayer this time. After all....3rd times a charm right?:)

I have 3 little boys - ages 7, 5, and just 2 this past week. However, they're not really 'mine'. But I've babysat them for the past 4 years so I claim them. *grin*

I love boys. If I have all girls I'm going to be heartbroken. :012: I hear they are easier to raise, too. Nowhere near as emotional. *cringe*

I trust the Lord blesses your pregnancy and your precious unborn girl.

Welcome to the forums. :)
