Welcome welcome welcome. Beware, you will find yourself spending 30 hours out of the day on here just to catch up, even though there is only 24 hours to a regular day. (Trust me on this one. I am soooo far behind that it is not even funny.)

Where do you go to school
do you have siblings
do you like potato chips
do you like fruit
what is your favorite kind
who votes fresh, juicy pineapple the best
do you have a car
when was the last time that you arranged your shoes
do you have your closet arranged, or is it a mess
what is the longest time that you have ever spent doing your hair
do you like green or yellow better
if you could be doing anything in the world right now, what would you be doing
if you had the power to talk people into doing anything, who would you start with, and what would you talk them into doing
would you use that power to your own gain
would you have fun with that *suddenly gets Mischievous glint in eye*
If you could spend 3 weeks anywhere in the world, all expenses paid, where would you go, (only one place)
Do you like back massages, or foot massages
How did you hear about YQ
WHat are your expectations?

ok doki here are the answers to the interigation questionsWelcome welcome welcome. Beware, you will find yourself spending 30 hours out of the day on here just to catch up, even though there is only 24 hours to a regular day. (Trust me on this one. I am soooo far behind that it is not even funny.)

Where do you go to school- i go to school In Crystal Palace/ South Norwood called Harris CTC. very good school. It has standards i am trying my very best to meet. Some very interlectual people on here could maybe help me with long words i can't pronounce and better my english writing. i.e JoeC
do you have siblings- sometimes i'd like to say no but the 10 commandments says 'thou shalt not lie' so yes i do. 1 brother and 1 sister, both old. i mean older.
do you like potato chips- ofcourse
do you like fruit- ofcourse squared
what is your favorite kind- clementines i think
who votes fresh, juicy pineapple the best-
do you have a car- yea i have a yellow convertable parked outside
when was the last time that you arranged your shoes- never
do you have your closet arranged, or is it a mess- arranged
what is the longest time that you have ever spent doing your hair- 4 hours
do you like green or yellow better- YELLOW
if you could be doing anything in the world right now, what would you be doing- befriending small and lonely children
if you had the power to talk people into doing anything, who would you start with, and what would you talk them into doing- hmmm a famous football player telling them to give me money
would you use that power to your own gain- getting lots of money £$£
would you have fun with that *suddenly gets Mischievous glint in eye*ofvourse not, i'm a good girl *Evil glare*
If you could spend 3 weeks anywhere in the world, all expenses paid, where would you go, (only one place) Ghana
Do you like back massages, or foot massages- whichever anyone offeres to give
How did you hear about YQ- my teddy visits here regularly and refered me to it. He goes to a teddy church (christian ofcourse)
WHat are your expectations? to be blessed, be a blessing, and to have as much fun with the believers on here as possible

Help!

Ok, fine. I'll do it. After I get back from holidays.

Yes, I'm going away AGAIN. For just under a week this time.

Which is why I don't want to start a thread that will be closed in 2 weeks if I aren't going to be able to post during that time.

And Lilly, I love your hair, too! So pretty. I need to find a decent pic of my own to put up.

There's a cute little song called "The Mississippi Squirrel" that sings about a squirrel that got loose in a church. Some might think it funny...

Lily_Grace

if you get bitten by a squirrel you have to get 9 injections:eek:

keep your distence from squirrels

My sister got bitten by a squirrel a couple years ago when she was feeding it... if there was any chance it was rabid she would have had to get the 9 shots, but we were 99.9% sure that it wasn't.

And she seemed fine when I saw her, HotShot, so apparently you were right.

I had a very young squirrel take an acorn from my hand once. That was neat. Normally they keep their distance.

Josiah, I thought you didn't like that song. o¿ô

If I heard right, I think he said that it was...umm..cute(?), a word I wouldn't normally expect out of a guy describing..well...most anything besides babies. And if I am also not mistaken, he described it as a song that SOME might think as funny. Maybe he is leaving himself open to free interpretation?

HotShot53
03-08-2006, 10:24 PM
"Cute" in guy language can also sometimes be interpreted to mean small and not important.... and like collegegirl said, "some" might like it, which generally means the person saying it isn't necessarily one of them that does ;)

Okay, so I know this may be in the wrong thread, but according to you, if a guy describes a girl to be "cute", does that mean he thinks she's "small and not important"?? Just wondering, cause I hear guys use that term a lot when describing a girl.

me too whats the dillio guys?

btw dillio= deal (just incase you were wondering)

BroTrevor
03-09-2006, 04:22 PM
is that pronounced "deal - ee - oh"

Cuz my family uses that....

You know, that little dealio over there. Another word for thingamajobie.

blessed
03-09-2006, 04:23 PM
May i ask what is that?

"thingamajobie."

BroTrevor
03-09-2006, 04:25 PM
It's a dealio...

blessed
03-09-2006, 04:27 PM
Thanks for expounding on that Trevor, it made a big difference

BroTrevor
03-09-2006, 04:29 PM
Sorry...I couldn't help that one...

<grin>

Ok, it's just a word you would use to describe something you're pointing at, but for some reason can't put a name too..

Like for instance, you're working on a car...and you have someone helping you. And you need that part over there, but can't for the life of you remember what it's called. So you point to it, and say to your helper...hand me that thingamajobie... or alternatively you could say...hand me that dealio/dillio

Clear?

Lily_Grace
03-09-2006, 04:31 PM
u know us english.
we get confused often.
can't keep up.
nah joking
i have never used it to describe a thingamajig though
by the way don't bypass the original question about cuteness

blessed
03-09-2006, 04:32 PM
Actually we usually use Dealio to say like what's up or what's with that E.g. What's the dealio with hotshot saying that cute means small and (whatever was the other word he used)

and Thingamajig......to identify something with no name.

Tu comprende

BroTrevor
03-09-2006, 04:34 PM
Si comprendo (did I conjugate that correctly?)

or russian?

da pineemayo.. (although russian doesn't translate well into our alphabet)

-----------

Anyhoo...

Yes, thingamajig same as thingamajobie.

And I can see that dealio being used in that instance as well.

Lily_Grace
03-09-2006, 04:39 PM
i got though dealio looks better than dillio

BroTrevor
03-09-2006, 04:40 PM
Um...i need some clarification here, because i have been described as cute before...

Anyhow...back to the subject at hand...

Hotshot said "Cute" in guy language can also sometimes be interpreted to mean small and not important

Notice he said SOMETIMES.

It's like in the real estate world. If they define a house as "cute as a button" this can be roughly translated into "really small house, but it's painted a nice yellow" or something like that.

Cute can also mean... cute. As in a girl is cute. Ya know, brown hair, brown eyes, about 5'3'' or so, nice smile... etc..

You get the idea.

blessed

Not really since i am d/brown hair, d/brown eyes 5'8
