Once a good or bad reputation given can it be taken back?

The reason why I am asking this is because I had someone giving me a good reputation on a certain subject and now when I check on my User-CP it is no longer there.
How does that work?

Generally speaking, reputation cannot be taken back by the giver. The user control panel only displays the five most recent reputation comments. When a new one comes along, the oldest comment gets bumped off the list.

at one point I had 5 green....so I did a screen capture and saved it becuase I don't think that will happen again. :laugh:

I still don't get what the rule is on green squares and their equivalence to rep points.

A green square next to the comment on your UserCP means it was a positive rating.

The green squares next to your name show how much positive reputation you have... you get a second green square at 100 rep, and I assume a third one at 200 or 250 or so.

Wait, now that I re-read what he said and the context... he was meaning that 5 people in a row gave him positive comments, so when he looked in his userCP the 5 showing were all green. Apparently he gets red comments often....

after I flamed the people that gave me red....they were changed to green.
