I don't have one... yet. I read yours and it i'm kind of interest in starting one! :) I normally keep something like that under documents in my computer, i might as well share it, right? What should i name it??? Hahaha... now i want to make it better than yours!!!!!!! :) Nah, just kidding brother!!!! I hope the sun burn went away by now, i didn't check the date, but hopefully it's gone by now... :rolleyes:

i started something like a blog... but it's not really one... what would it be called... let's see... i just post stuff that i read and really enjoyed and certain quotes/scriptures. I might add some pictures or something like that sometime soon.... or actually write... :)

Okay, I spend time on the forums. Big deal, it doesn't take all that much time to post. Right now I don't want my own personal site. If I can't write in a journal, what makes you think I can write an online journal? A cop-out? I don't think so. If I don't want one, I don't have to have one. I can just enjoy other peoples. You want a cop-out? I have a perfectly legitimate reason not to. So, I will enjoy yours, Blessed, and Joes, and everyone elses that I know. When I get a Xanga, I will let you know.

Actually Joe, Posting on the board is just like Xanga, and when you have shared here why share there its the same thing, plus you can get conversationsgoing on what you have posted/blogged about on here. You get that feed back interaction. I really dont see any difference between the two. what you can do on one you can do on the other pretty much.

That's one of the reason's I chose blogger. You don't have to sign up for an account to post. I know that people on Xanga can't subscribe to me and that I suffer a huge audience loss by not being on Xanga - BUT WE'RE TALKIN' ABOUT PRINCIPLE HERE PPL!

i wasn't talking about blogging vs. forums - i was talking about blogger vs. xanga.


anyhow, blogging vs. forums:

forums provide interactivity - similar to the kind of discussion that you would have in real life.

blogging gives a running commentary of what's going on in your life and in your head. something that doesn't neccessarily come out in regular conversations. blggoing gives another perspective of a person.

Hmmm I havent found that to be the case, and my examples are the prayer requests, the study hall, and many other spots where ppl have shared their deep feelings on things and their ideas and beliefs,

The main difference I see in it is how ppl choose to use it. I mean how many bloggers use the forums and how many ppl who are forum users use blogs, I think it is what they are either more familiar with or what medium they choose to express them selves with

And xanga is deffinately the best blogger out there, everyone should join :) It doesn't take that much time to make a post... what takes the time is if you read 70-80 people's xangas like I do ;)
