[14:43] Trevor: one the Jehovah witness that came to the door earlier while I was home was asking...
[14:43] Trevor: told me it wasn't unreasonable to draw close to God, and that even I could be a friend of God.
[14:44] Trevor: then my kids came to the door with a sword, and Zion said the batteries died in his gun...<sigh>
:lmao:
wow this gave me a smile.
nobody ever comes to our home...I guess the "Forget the dog, beware of Owner" sign scares them off. :laugh:

SpamBoy <-- Message Witness :ok:
I had one come to the door recently (JW). I politely accepted their tract and wiated for them to leave. I wish I could be more like our pastor's wife. She welcomes them into the living room and witnesses to them - talk about turning the tables! <sigh>

See...I wish I was more that way too...
but my boys would have wanted her to play swords...
honestly, the only thing I could think of was
1) It's cold out.
2) Why today?
3) I have PHP to get back to.
<sigh>
There's living for others if I ever did see it... Of course, after she left, I thought of thousands of things I thought I could say. Even though of starting a thread on "good things to stump a Jehovah's witness". Maybe I should do that.
"He's still workin on me...."

You like this one any better? Or was the simpleness of the first one a stark statement?
<laughs and shakes heads dramatically>

Could be multiple directions at the same time... go back and read the post :D

Ha! That took me awhile to figure out.
A good catch to your own typo.
actually, it wasn't technically a typo. I caught it before I posted (you know how you hit an extra letter by accident)... but since I was going to shake my head dramatically anyway, I thought the typo would really make it dramatic!

You still haven't answered the question quite to my satisfaction
Oh look...I just noticed those images in the right hand corner are fixed...Neat.
Anyhoo...
2 heads shaking in whatever direction is more dramatic....
which direction was that again?

Whenever JW stop by our house, my parents always invite them in and try to turn the tables on them... it's amazing how quick they leave after that... it's a shame that it's very hard to talk to them about anything other then what they want to say.

I have JW on one side and Mormons on the other - they are great family.
I keep the Pillar of Fire over Bro Branham on one side of our room
-and-
The 12 tribes of Isreal around the Tabernacle and the Pillar of Fire above it.
Makes for a great witnessing tool. You see if someone ASK you a question your obligated to answer it. :laugh:
