I couldn't reply to hollikins post in "Girls Only" because it's like.... girls only! So, I'm replying to it here :p .

Maybe I don't get sunburns where my hair parts (what's a part? j/k), but I did just recover ffrom an extensive sunburn - if that's any moral support. You can read about it in my blog here (http://mylife-mytimes.blogspot.com/).

Oh, and the reason I even read a "girls only post"? I'm a moderator. :p

lol! lol! lol!

I'm sorry about your burn, but I do think it's funny. NO SUNSCREEN??? I guess it's a lesson learned. I've learned many of those lessons throughout the years. lol

Okay, so I know that the last post to this thread was over months ago, but I am just discovering that some of these threads I want to reply to. I have a bad history with sunburns. I live in the tropics, and so there is nothing but sun. I went to a youth meeting, and it was in the afternoon sun. I was out in the sun for over 4 hours, WITH OUT sunscreen. (ouch!) Major league sun burn. I was burnt so bad that I looked as though I was wearing pink elbowlength gloves. It extended up about 4-5 inches above my elbow. Plus, my face was extremely pink. My face was about the shade of red as this angry face. That is also about the face I was making when I tried to change clothes. I then went out with youth later, and the clothes I had changed into, the neckline was slightly lower than the t-shirt like neckline and sleeves that I had been wearing earlier. It showed the difference between before the youth get-together, and afterwards. I am fair skinned anyways, but this was bad!

I feel your pain. This summer, I sat outside in the sun for about 2.5 hours doing AP Biology. I didn't think to wear sunscreen and my eyeballs got burned too because I was staring at white pages for 2 hours. It was terrible. I was wearing a tank top because I was in my backyard. I wasn't able to hardly move for about 3-4 days. I was burnt to a crisp, and I have really fair skin and you can still see where I got burnt. I think I've learned my lesson.

Well, I obviously haven't, because I have done it several times. You know the odd thing is, it happens, even if I wear sunscreen. I do get sun, but not very much. A few weeks ago, I sat in a way to where I ended up getting sun burnt on one of my shoulders and arms, and then it slanted over my neck, so one side was burnt, and the other side had nothing at all. Talk about sore.
