Sunburns!

Tell me I'm not the only one...

I went camping this weekend and now I have a sunburn where I had my hair parted. OUCH! This happens to me waaaay too often.

Anybody else have this problem?

I've gotten sun burned before, but not on my head! I have dark hair too, so that is not an issue i have to deal with often. I went fishing a while back with my dad and brother, it seememed to be a wonderful day, no sun and it almost felt like it was going to rain. I found no need to put sun block on, and well, it turns out i should have. The next day my face was RED, my arms were RED, everything was RED!!!! PLUS, it hurt... it went away and i got darker... a tan that kinda never went away... hehehe... so now, my arms are a different shade than my legs, my legs a different shade than my feet... and well, the list goes on! Hahaha... :D

I went conueing on the white river this summer and parted my hair so i could put into Two braids. I got sunburned in the part so bad that my head ached the hole next day. I felt so silly for not relizeing that I needed to put suntan lotion there.

I went to Hershey Park for my 17th birthday this year and I had my hair parted, and of Course, With it being 90 degrees out I received a sunburn on that part. My head hurt sooo bad the next day

Don't I know how that is. I am fair skinned, and so I burn easily. An hour will give me light burn. Four hours, you had better forget it. I know now, (by experience) to put sunscreen on my head.

Unfortunatly. I have heard to get red of the red, use lemon juice. Ouch! I have tried it, but I don't think it worked on me. :D

I heard that people used to believe that lemon juice would get rid of freckles
