I'm surprised at you Joe and Bro Trevor... they are great books and they take almost no time to read, why haven't you finished them yet? I'm just waiting for the rest to finally be finished... as I have been for a couple years now...

Books I am currently in the middle of
The supernatural book 5 (Owen Jorgensen)
Revivals of Religion (Charles Finney)
Five love languages, mens edition (Gary Chapman)
Knife of Dreams (Robert Jordan)
I wouldn't be surprised if there was one I forgot....
I just never made it through book 5? I got sidetracked...
Out of sight out of mind... we just don't have the books around the house so I don't give them much thought.

The supernatural books are wonderful it really gives an insight into the personal life of Bro Branham and shows us how much he sacrificed to bring this message to us. Everyone should read it.

I enjoyed weeping after reading about the "Opossum Fever" last night. Bro Branham did not notice the opossum that God sent to him to be prayed over. God told him that after using the animal's virtue to care for her babies as an example against the woman that killed her own child, he never gave it a thought to pray for it. It was so dramatic. I really love how the Lord would let things happen to let us see that his love is for all creation.

I just had to add a little Testimony,
At the place that I work, Hytek(Silverado Barn) there are many people that work there and about 75% of the employes are professing Christains. It is interesting to see something when you work with so many Christains. Some can talk about God one minute and the next be making a dirty joke. Were talking about within a minute. I have seen this many times.
Anyways, my wife works at the same place as me, and we are always looking for opertunities to share the message. We were talking to this one lady at work that goes to a church called "Springs". She was talking about how good God was, and we were just having a good time. It turns out that the father (Paul Fontaine) of her pastor (Leon Fontaine) was healed in one of Bro. Branhams meetings. This was a open door. We started talking about healing, and when I told her that her Pastors dad was healed in Bro. Branhams meeting, she was interested in Bro.Branham. So.....
We gave her the Supernatural Books. She was coming to work extremly exited about this "Man of God" and could not get enough of it, We asked her a few weeks back what she thought of it. her reply was " He is a Prophet", and she is now passing the books around to other people.
These books are a blessing, and a great tool. Just wanted to share that.
We now have her on the 7 Church Ages.
God Bless.

If you don't tend to work around a lot of people and don't seem to have an opportunity to witness what else can you do to witness? Maybe a dumb question but I really want to witness more and I know I’m not doing enough like I should. Any ideas, suggestions or thoughts are welcome. What makes some people just seem to have a real gift of witnessing?

 I'm a lousy witness...
What makes some people just seem to have a real gift of witnessing?maybe because it's just that, part of it is a gift; no I have no real idea :embarrassed:

You don't necessarily have to say something to witness to others - your life in itself is a testimony and the world sees Jesus in you - it's the only Jesus they'll ever see is the Jesus in you and me... :)

:y10: it's just that, I always, I still feel like all that, completely worthless

I can't speak for the rest, but I'm sure we've all felt that way sometime or the other (and even still do sometimes). For the past few services though I've been hearing that our salvation is not based on feeling - THANK GOD! - :yay:

Sometimes satan trys to tell us that we are worthless and are doing nothing for Christ but I was just in church today and my paster spoke on "Let your light shine" what kind of a billbord are you? When people see you do they want what you have? And sometimes we don't notice the affect just a simple day in and day out billbord walk with God can do to a person thats watching you.
A scripture that really encourages me when I feel I am worthless is Proverbs 8:22-end of the chapter. I highly recomend it. It is one of my favorets. I hope you find it encourging to. Also the book of Psalms is a good book to read for encouragment at least for me.

What makes some people just seem to have a real gift of witnessing?
I think witnessing comes natural when we receive the Holy Ghost, and have experienced the blessings that the Lord has given us. Probably one hindrance is that we expect too much from ourselves in witnessing extravagantly to others when it could be done in the most simplest way. I heard on one of the preachings at church that we tend to look on the blessings of others and compare it with ours, and feel small. Such attitude towards God's blessings shouldn't be. We should be grateful enough on even the small things that we have, and enjoy in life. And by cherishing even the least blessings that we receive, I'm sure witnessing won't be difficult.:)
