Hi, I am TweetyBird. I am In_His_Grace's youngest daughter. The Turtle Guy is my big brother and LittleLamb is my Sissy. I live in Wichita, Kansas. I go to Brother Jim Pinkston's Church. I may be the youngest person on this site. I am nine years old, almost ten, cause my birthday is coming up on March 14. I am full of conversation so I hope we can be friends. My favorite Color is Yellow. That is why I picked TweetyBird as my Avatar. :swinging: I love to swing, draw, read, play word games, I read at the twelvth grade level. I love Banana's:banana: and Mango's. I love to play Hide and seek :peep: . It is great to meet you all :greetings . Naomi Banta (TweetyBird)

Hi, Nay Nay. Welcome to Youth Quake Forums. Hope you have fun here and are a good respectful little TweetyBird. I hope I don't have to get the mallet out for you like I have had to do to your big turtley brother. Love you honey. Mommy

Twelfth grade reading level, you say? That is quite impressive. I'm a bookworm myself. What do you like to read?
P.S.
Isn't 'twelfth' a weird word? It seems wrong while one types it...

Spare the rod, Spoil the child!!! Don't want any spoiled turtles round here!!
So I am not violent just a good parent!! Who luvs her kiddos!! Actually in real life my preferred punishment is a nose on the wall. Most of the time after twenty minutes starring at the wall they would have preferred a swat to get it over with. Lol. :harhar1: Sis Lynn

:greetings Hello all, How is everyone doin? Blood Washed Bride, yes twelfth is a funny word. I like to read Magic Tree House and The Secrets of Droon. I like to read Gross Books. They are books about really weird things that gross you out. Like Ripleys Believe it or not. My teacher wants me to read books at the 12th grade level because that is where I test out in comprehension. It is hard to find books that are good for me to read as a nine year old kid, that are twelfth grade level that are not to mature for me. If you have any suggestions for me that would be great. Since you like to read too, maybe you know some good books. :yay: Namwacha, You like to echo. That is cool!! That is cool!!:taz: Thanks everyone for welcoming me to the Youth Quake Forum. It is kinda hard to fit in being the youngest here. But I am looking forward to having fun here. :) Thanks a lot, TweetyBird

The Redwall series of books by Brian Jacques are pretty good, you'd probably like them.

Yeah, I'm currently reading Marlfox by Brian Jacques. Although found in the children's section, most of his books seem to run between 300 and 400 pages. His style is captivating though - an excellent storyteller.
Most of the books I read tend to be intense or deal with more mature issues, so your mom might prefer you wait on those a while.
Umm... Christian historical fiction is a favourite genre of mine. I think I can safely recommend anything by Gilbert Morris.
Although not very far up the reading level, Bill Myers' Wally McDoogle "My life as..." series is an entertaining and morally sound Christian option.
When I think of some more, I will let you know. :o)
Two thumbs up for the Wally McDoogle books. I cut my teeth on them growing up and they are grr-eat!

I also like Lemony Snicket books and I found one that I had not read before. After I read Redwall I will tell you how I liked it. Naomi:)

<gasp>
You can't ask a young girl if she likes her mommy or daddy better.
What if they read the forums too??
I requestfully submit that that question be stricken from the annals, logs, threads, posts, lines, and anything else it might be on.

some things just shouldn't be chosen between....
Although...when they are at the stage where they want to be carried everywhere...it can occasionally be nice to not be the favored parent.
