I just received an email telling me that in one week, you will prune people that have never post...

I don't see why someone need to post something to be a member. Why not prune someone who has never post and never logged since a few months instead. So if someone uis using its account but do not want to post, it will not be pruned out.

Also, giving only one week, is realy short... Someone that would be in vacation or read his email once a week might be removed before he ever gat a chance to ever knows that you are prunning members.

You can still read the forums without an account... the only purpose in having an account is if you are posting. And creating an account takes hardly any time at all, so even if the person later wants to comment they can always re-create their account. I think this is a good move...

yeah, i think it is a good idea. i wont repeat what hotshot just said, but yeah, it is a splendid idea
