Well, since the certified interrogaters are not taking their duties seriously, it looks like the job falls to those of us in training. *gulp*

Who is your favourite author?

What kind of work do you do, if any?

Which musical is your favourite?

Do you have anything against chocolate?

As a child, what did you want to grow up to be?

There! *cracks knuckles* That should hold everyone's curiosity for the time being. And if not.... they can ask their own questions. :oP

Gen
01-22-2006, 11:06 PM
*cracks knuckles* (love that Melody.. thanks)....... :worthy:

ROFL..

Well.

My favorite author is Janette Oak..... love her. =).. she wrote one of my favorite books.. "A quiet strength"... awesome story.. awesome writer..

My work....... HMMM...... i work for the District Attorney with victims ... Somedays it tries my patience.. but its VERY rewarding. :) Love my job.

My favorite musical....... Ok. (this is incredibly cheesy)... but i love "State Fair"... either that one ... or "The King and I"... as a little girl.. my Mom & Dad probably took me to see every musical known to mankind... and i learned to play most of the scores on the piano.. (which i hated.. at the time).. HAHA! :aaaah:

Do i have anything AGAINST chocolate? UMMMMMMMM. no.
in fact...... we're a TEAM. Chocolate and I. yes.

As a child....... i enjoyed painting .. reading... music.. art .. piano.. music.. art... piano... you get the idea.

.. i wanted to be an artist. I was going to sail through life selling paintings ... that would someday be remembered.. HAR HAR HAR.

sheeeeesh. then came reality.

yup.

ok........ Any more questions?

*cracks knuckles*

:greetings

hi Genn,,,,

Your jobs sounds interesting care to tell more about it

Gen
01-22-2006, 11:21 PM
My job....

Its very rewarding..

I deal with rape, molestation.. abused.. battered women.. and men ... being a young girl... it was VERY hard to deal with people who i've never been in the same situation ...

VERY HARD.

i've worked there.. four years...

I'm pretty much a step in the road.. to a very long process... the come see me ... to find out whats going to happen next... what type of help they need... the court process... etc.

i provide answers to questions.. and sometimes just someone to listen.. (you can't imagine how much that helps)...

My job has made me really strong in a lot of ways.. Spiritually.. physically.. made me more patient... :)..

I'm praising God for it. :).. its a blessing.

blessed
01-22-2006, 11:25 PM

wow...that sounds like a difficult job. I'm sure God has placed you there to be a shining light to those who need it.

----

I can't imagine why anyone would ask a girl if she had anything against chocolate. Of course not! I have found this to be one of the constants in life that make the world spin. Girls like chocolate.

----

My interrogation (still a interrogator in training as well)

Kayaking or Hanggliding?
Chocolate: Dark, milk, semi-sweet, or white?
Brussel sprouts: Like em?
Ever been to Minnesota?
Favorite color of car?

(that was pretty easy...I may not make a great interrogator)

ah well...

Welcome Gen...I think we all enjoy your Xanga posts.

haha

Well, I have to ask at least one off-the-wall question, don't I?

*mutters to self* All the other interrogaters post a bazillion bizarre questions, and I get berated for one... The injustice of it all!

BroTrevor
01-23-2006, 01:32 PM
"bereated for one"

I wasn't bereating!! You are too sensitive by half.

BroTrevor

I mean, come on! People LIKE musicals??

'Bereat' is not a word. It is certainly not the word I used.

While you are searching for your therapist's number, you may also want to consult a professional on taking a dyslexia test.

:oP

BroTrevor
01-23-2006, 04:46 PM

now I'm being "berated" for my incorrect spelling of "berated".

Ok.. Bro. Trevor...

Here goes nothin'.... haha..

KAYAKING... most completely. Hangliding freaks me out. (AND yes, i am a wimpy girl.) (and i do like pink.)

Chocolate.. (ARE YOU KIDDING ME?)........ DARK. :worthy: DAAAAAAARK.
yes. very VERY DARK.

Actually I do like Brussel Sprouts.. I KNOW.. (isn't that weird????!!!)...

And nooooooo.. i've never had the privilage of visiting the great state of Minnesota.. (Has anyone ever actually looked at that word.. "MINNESOTA".. i mean.. WHO WOULD COME UP WITH THAT?) haha..

(you in the back.. STOP pointing at me. )

Favorite color car... ............ RED!!!!! :yay:
sheeeeeeeesh. -digs toe in mud-

*whispers*.. Baby would offically throw oil on me if i didn't say i liked her color..

Lol, even though girls liking chocolate is a safe assumption, it's not always 100% right.... for whatever reason my sister can't stand chocolate. And I think I met another girl some time or another who also didn't like chocolate.... but it is pretty rare ;) (Btw, what guy do you know who doesn't like chocolate? I don't know if I know any of them....)

01-23-2006, 06:43 PM
you're right HotShot53 i am not crazy about sweets either and that includes chocolate but there are a very FEW that i like to eat once in a while (e.g. cadbury dairy milk or kisses chocos)..i can live without them though..there is just a certain time of the month that i crave for sweets (i think you girls know what im talking about :D)..so there you go.. not all us girls are chocolate crazy, just like there is always an exception to the general rule.

JMC_785
01-26-2006, 02:57 PM
Oh no. No No No. NO!! Musicals are not alright. I remember being subjected to my first musical as a wee little one, an atrocious/abominable/torturous/unthinkably painful picture known to the common person as "Sound of Music". I'm firmly convinced that it was conjured up during WWII by German torture scientists who couldn't find the proper ingredients for Technicolor by the end of the war, thus they sold it to Walt Disney, who produced it years later without thinking of the consequences. This however represents only my humble opinion and not necessarily factual information, perhaps I should start a thread on musicals..... Hmmmm....

... an atrocious/abominable/torturous/unthinkably painful picture known to the common person as "Sound of Music". I'm firmly convinced that it was conjured up during WWII by German torture scientists...

It's a very good speculation, except for one point: In the film, the Von Trapp family escapes from the Nazis. I hardly think the Germans would wish to promote, let alone produce, a film so detrimental to their cause.

Conclusion: It must have been conjured up by a group even more nefarious than the Nazis! :aaaah:

(Disclaimer: I cannot make a post in derision of musicals without including the fact that I have a soft spot for Fiddler on the Roof and Phantom of the Opera.)

BroTrevor

Ok, Fiddler on the roof is acceptable.

Could have done without the whole sunrise/sunset thing.
