Yesss... I finally Figured out how to use a forum!! It was a very exiting experience :o . Seconds of time developed into stressful minutes of hard work. I tried every thing, amazed at my computer illiteracy skills. Then to my pure luck, I happen to click on a link that said "new thread", or something that was out of my dim-witted vocabulary. I just had so much on my chest that I had to get off, But I'm shure glad I got this over with. "whew". Well anyways, That was my thrilling experience for the today.

I just hate the fact that I sometimes have to call myself brainless.

Ummmm now that I have said what I've said, how do you end this thing?

Would it have helped if I had put a "how to" in the support forum... or did you even look? There's also the FAQ @ the top - though it is understandably a little known acronym (meaning frequently asked questions... with answers:D )

Anyhow, I'm glad you fugured it out - Enjoy!

I HAD THE SAME EXPERIENCE!!! I actually laughed at myself... hahaha, i mean, i can recite to you the names of all the bones in the human body... the muscles, the nerves... veins, arteries... i can remember so many things like those... figure out solutions to problems in my pre cal class... do other "intelligent" things, but why??? Why is it that simple little things can be sooooooooo difficult for me??? Is that consired brainless too??? My brother says i just don't have common sense... maybe that's it... anyway, brainless or not, Jesus loves us, right??? =)

God bless you!

I think it's because us super-geniuses and masterminds, while being extremely intelligent and/or possessing strategic superpowers, lack basic common sense. Yes, that's it. Basic common sence.

I had a computer applications class when I was going for my B.S..... and that was one of the most booring classes I had, since they really didn't say anything new

I had to take computer applications in 9th grade. It was ok. It was good for me because I didn't have a computer at home and I needed to lean to type faster and learn shortcuts and how to use Microsoft Word. What I didn't learn at school, I learned by myself. I don't know much, just enough to survive, but somethings I do my teacher didn't know about, like certain shortcuts.

Using computers in real life is normally better than class, unless you know nothing about them at all

i learn things when i can do em myself...i generally don't need instruction or how to's...just need to sit down and figure it out. i get kinda proud that way. : - /

i started using a computer as soon as I could touch the keys. So i get frustrated when people can't even move the mouse or turn it off. patience...paaaaatience. I'm learning...really.

I'm pretty good at figuring out how to use things. Although I can't do anything without reading the instructions, computers don't really come with them, so I figured out a lot on my own. My mom drives me crazy because she knows a little about how to use the computer, but only enough to do the basics. She asks me to help her, I try and she freaks out because she thinks I'm going to mess something up, or she doesn't understand what I did and wants me to explain it in minute detail. I try to be absent when she is using the computer so she has to ask my brother or sister.

Well i dont get to get away from those kinds of things, sure most of my family knows alot about PCs but i am the only one who can build one from the ground up and make it work ( LIVE I TELL YOU LIVE BUHAHAHAHAHA ) so i am the one they all come to when they need help, fix any problems that pop up and update and maintain all 10 of our PCs :D sigh a techies computer is never done it seems plus i have to help fix the 3 at this jiffy lube kinda place called gease monkey

JoeC

wait... why do you have to fix a greasy monkey's computer?

Christian-Samurai
01-15-2006, 10:56 PM
cause they dont know how to use them lol, actually one of the owners there is related my brother so I get free oil changes :D plus i get paid to fix their computers also, they like to play computer games on their network when work is slow there but they keep messing up the PC when they try to change something themselves so :D

benifit of being your own boss lol but the down side is having to pay someone to fix the things everytime your employees break it lol soooo I am trying to think of the best way to secure their data so they can do both and will be easy fix when they need a repair

Wait samurai, aren't you the one installing the viruses so they would have to call you in and pay you some more every so often? Why would you want to secure their data so you couldn't do that anymore?
