I just got out of a 10 hour study shift (that's after I subtracted the lunch hour).

My math test is tomorrow. If you're up between 8 and 10 o'clock EST, remember to whisper a prayer for me.

It's been pretty difficult this semester. I tested into Intermediate algebra (equivalent to alg. 2), but I hadn't taken an algebra course in 3 years and I didn't put a whole lotta effort into it then (though I still managed an acceptable grade then).

So, compund the rusty gears with learning study skills (my homeschool course let me do open book test), it's been a difficult semester for math. I hope that next semester math goes easier 'cause I have a much heavier course load.

Gopd bless and keep me in your prayers!

Just got out of the final and I feel relieved! 20+ hours of study time for that thing this week alone!

On the way to college I listened to Sherri LaFontaine "My Want's Been Changed." That got me into the Spirit of the Lord and carried me through the rest of the test. Granted, there was a lot of anxiety going on. I really need to work on my speed - some ppl were handing in their tests when I was only half way done! Grrr...

Thanks, but if I'm taking an hour and a half for an algebra test, what's it gonna be like when I get to calc? yikes(!)

Sure I understand the need to want to get it done and overwith but you know what happens when you rush things

I am usually the first one done with my test. I usually score pretty high too. Lately, I have made myself slow down, but I just need to "brain dump", and get rid of all of the stuff that could leave my mind very quickly. I just get excited and anxious at the same time, and that kinda makes me go faster. :bouncie:

no one should get that excited over calc or algebra unless they are a math nerd

math is cool. each problem is like a puzzle. my problem is that I want to have fun with it - look at it from all the different angles, instead of just doing the ONE way.

I hated math in High School, but this first semester has been really interesting. It helps having someone to ask questions of - a little thing can really give you a mental block, keeping a guy from learning anything else. :ng_thumbd

Just as long as you aren't afraid to ask questions. As long as you know how to get past that block, than that makes you smart.

I'm last on both. I'm meticulous and expressive. I think I'm the only one who fills out the written portion of our instructor evaluation sheet - everyone else just fills out the bubbles.

I do both, but no matter what I do, if I take my time, I am always the last person when it comes to some things, but others, I whizz through it.

*wails* NOOOOoooooo........!!!!!! :ranting: They haven't posted them yet. I know that for Supervisory/Leadership skills I got an A, Business Law I (online) I got a B, for my Co-op I got an A. I had other classes, oh, Sanitation, I think I got an A, quite possibly an A in Beverage Management, but for Food Production I a B is in the works, me thinks. Now it says I won't be able to get them until tomorrow, the 21st. Arrrrggghh! :ranting:
