Aaaah! Spiders!

Today I was a bridesmaid in my best friend's wedding. Well, I was getting ready to put on my dress when I lifted it up and noticed a black speck on it. I was like, "What's that?" I thought it might be dirt. Then I realized that it was a fat spider! :eek: I yelled and dropped the dress on the floor. My friend beside me did a terrified jig. lol So, I got a shoe and let the spider crawl on the shoe and off of the dress. Then I drop the spider on the floor and begin to swat, but somehow I miss and it ends up under a toddler's shirt that's on the floor. So, I smack the shirt, my friend lifts it up, and there's the very much alive spider hanging on the shirt. Terrified, she drops the shirt, and I proceed to mercilessly beat the little sucker until it's dead. THEN I put on my dress. I figure if there's another one, I'll kill it, too.

In the midst of all this, me and my friend repeatedly cry out in fear. LOL. The groomsmen must've thought that we were trying to kill each other. My my, I hate spiders!

Oh, I am soooo terrified of spiders. I get it from my dad. When he and my mom were first married, and mom would call on him to kill a spider, he'd stand about ten feet away from it and throw a shoe. Yeah... That's pathetic. lol

In fact, I have another story about my dad and spiders. My parents were ripping up their carpet and finishing the wood floor underneath it during football season. There was a hole in the floor from where they hadn't put down new wood flooring yet. My dad had his arachnaphobic friend over watching football one evening when they saw THE MOST HUMONGOUS SPIDER walking across the floor. It was so big that its steps sounded like fingernails on the wood floor. Both men were scared out of their wits! So, my dad, the braver of the two men, got a shoe to kill it, but then the spider raised up on its back legs and hissed, I believe. My dad abandoned that idea quickly for a spray bottle of some sort of insect killer. Then he sprayed and sprayed and sprayed and sprayed...etc... until the varmit died. Oh my hero. lol

OH MY GOODNESS!!! I am sitting in a computer lab, snickering. I shouldn't read these things when I am in public places. Oh you guys are funny. They are right. You should write a book. I would buy it. That is so funny. You should see the spiders down here. They are called banana spiders, I think because they are black and yellow, and HUGE!!! They are easily the size of my hand, and sometimes that is not stretched out. They build these ENORMOUS webs that stretch across pathways overhead, so you could walk right under them, and not even know it. But the worst thing about here are the COCKROACHES. Unnggh. They are big and brown, and fly. You can hear them sometimes climbing on the blinds at night. I had one that was rustling around in a bag in my room at midnight. I had to kill it with my shoe. But dad once, (this is gross..) Okay, he sprayed this especially big one, (atleast 2 inches long), with sometype of glue spray, thinking that he would kill it that way. Well, he flipped it over, and the legs were still kicking! He then went to step on it, and, (standing about 15 feet away), he stepped the wings and the bug body went CRUNCH, like someone stepped on a potato chip.

We have these wood spiders that do the EXACT same thing. You have to suck them up with the vacuum cleaner, otherwise you will have little spiders running all over the place. My sister killed one once, and they all scattered. The thing is that they are so tiny that you can't really kill them like the big ones. But just imagine if you had a trantula running around your house....

they were so small it was hard so see ALL of them and kill them

ha ha ha well as for me and spiders i just go in the opposite direction that it is heading. works for me :)

That Doesn't always work, esp when they head TOWARDS you. LOL :D

If they are running towards me then i just grab a broom or anything i can use a weapon and fight for my life, if that does not work i just scream dddaaaadddyyyyyy, he usually gets mad when i do that but it works:D
