To all those who like me have parents that seem to be watching every step you make, every call you take, every place you seem to go, every body you hang out with...the list is endless! Take a moment to be thankful for their over protection!;-)
If it had not been for them asking who you were with at a particular time, you could have been lost somewhere, doing good for nothing things.
If it had not been for them asking who you were talking to, you could have ended up into a wrong relationship!
If you could have taken that jolly walk without notifying them..., consider where you'd have ended up!!
Though sometimes my parents may seem too protective, yet their advice followed, keeps me well and going!!:D Furious why Mum had to ask the boy/girl at that shop why they were talking to you? or who they were? Take a moment to thank mum that because of that, you have been kept safe and sound!! Parents are just what they are,PArents!! Remember, someone out there longs they had Parents!!!
THANK YOU LORD FOR MY MOM AND DAD!!!

you are right sis.. as I like to say, in most cases parents have outstanding knowledge and wisdom when it comes to life and in most cases they are right, although at times, actually most times, we don't see their wisdom and profound knowledge.

Now, my aunt (Mummy) is very interesting. She put up a wall hanging in the kitchen with this on it:
1 John 3:18 My little children, let us not love in word, neither in tongue; but in deed and in truth.
You always wonder what goes on in our parents' heads....
And then she put up 1st Corr. 13:1 Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, and have not charity, I am become [as] sounding brass, or a tinkling cymbal.
13:2 And though I have [the gift of] prophecy, and understand all mysteries, and all knowledge; and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, and have not charity, I am nothing.
13:3 And though I bestow all my goods to feed [the poor], and though I give my body to be burned, and have not charity, it profiteth me nothing.
13:4 Charity suffereth long, [and] is kind; charity envieth not; charity vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up,
13:5 Doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil;
13:6 Rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth;
13:7 Beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things.
13:8 Charity never faileth: but whether [there be] prophecies, they shall fail; whether [there be] tongues, they shall cease; whether [there be] knowledge, it shall vanish away.
13:9 For we know in part, and we prophesy in part.
13:10 But when that which is perfect is come, then that which is in part shall be done away.
13:11 When I was a child, I spake as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child: but when I became a man, I put away childish things.
13:12 For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known.
13:13 And now abideth faith, hope, charity, these three; but the greatest of these [is] charity. near her Bedrrom....the house is looking nice though with her new touch....but then, my sister was like, 'I can see mummy has decided to drill it in the best way!' renewal!!! haha

lol, over protective parents...(as long as there's a balance there) are an amazing thing to have! There's a sister from our church, she's like my mom (my mom isn't in the Message and she doesn't live with us) so since I don't get alot of motherly direction from my mom, she provides it alot of the time. I love it, honestly! Some of my friends are like, what? you like that? But since I haven't had alot of it....it means so much to me that I have some of it now. So, be thankful for your parents...even if they don't let you do what you want to do all the time. ;)

I think a lot of people take their parents and their parents advice forgranted. If you've got Godly parents, you are truly blessed. Be thankful for that headship, and be thankful for the love that they pour out on you.
I come from a loveless family...the only love that is ever shared is conditional, and even it's a rare thing. I am so thankful that the Lord has brought me into a body of believers who truly do love. It's been a tremendous blessing, and I am so grateful.
Those of you who don't have Godly parents-don't ever give up or stop praying for them. The Lord is more than able to intervene, and completely change their lives around.
