well what bugs you hate the most?

i hate cockroach! i can feel it even if it's yet too far away. I don't know what the phobia is called. It does seem to know I'm afraid of it coz I always seem to be it's target. :hey!: And my siblings likes to tease me with it too.

it's really funny when a cockroach flies in room full of girls. funny with all the jumping and screaming...especially with me :D

well my phobia is not for a bug but frogs and bats...these send me screaming and running...much to the irritation of my dad:D

collegegirl
11-26-2005, 10:44 AM
Styrofoam rubbing together?!!!! What kind of weird person are you? :D I have never had that problem. Even fingernails down the chalkboard never really affected me. Oh, oh, mushy carrots. Ever felt one? *collegegirl shudders*

Babyruth
11-28-2005, 03:38 AM
I cannot stand the feel of cotton balls, or any cotton piece of material with that cottony feel!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It makes me cringe just to think about it. If I have to touch cotton balls, I do it with gloves or a piece of tissue and I can't hear the sound it makes either.

collegegirl
12-01-2005, 12:51 PM
Well, velvet kinda gets me.....I preferr velour, or crushed velvet. It's so much softer.

JoeC
12-01-2005, 02:28 PM
Even fingernails down the chalkboard never really affected me.

I couldn't even stand to have my teachers write on a chalkboard when I was younger - let alone the fingernail thing :aaaah: . Now it's just me who can't write on the chalkboard. Can't stand the sound, the feel of the board, or the feel of the chalk. WHITEBOARDS ANYONE? HEL-L-O-O-O-O!!!

collegegirl
12-05-2005, 12:53 PM
:D Well, most of the boards at our college are whiteboards, (that is, in the newer buildings). I was the one that would scrape my fingernails. :D I hate it when my hands dry up, and I can't get lotion. *shudder*

Christian-Samurai
12-07-2005, 04:33 PM
yeah cant remember any of my college rooms having a chalk board, hmmm

collegegirl
12-08-2005, 09:21 PM
No, we were too busy trying to get the teacher to laugh, and helping the other students, and sleeping in class to notice if there were any chalkboards or not.

Christian-Samurai
12-08-2005, 10:38 PM
wow you to huh

collegegirl
12-10-2005, 11:51 AM
For your information, Humanities and Social sciences both had chalkboards, but all my culinary classes have dry erase boards, along with the supervisory/leadership skills class, business law, but Biology had a chalkboard but in lab it was a dry erase board. Freshman Comp and Spanish I both had chalkboards, as did Micro computer Applications. I think that is all..... And I paid attention in class, and helped the other students, and got the teacher to laugh. SO there.

collegegirl
12-10-2005, 11:57 AM
In the worst way....:D lol

All of the teachers loved me because I was either a role model student, *heh heh, slight blush* or they found out that I enjoyed cooking. I even brought in food to one or two of the classes. :D

Christian-Samurai
12-11-2005, 02:24 AM
I was the class clown, mostly because I was bored in my classes. most of the stuff they were teaching me I had already learned on my own, but had to take the class just so I could complete my degree *yawn In my 3d class my teacher gave us each a item that we had to model on the computer in 3D and she said to me that since you seem to be doing so well I am giving you the hardest object to model, however at the end of the day I had the whole bottom half done and when I showed her she said, hmm maybe I should have tried to give you an even harder object heh, I have a picture of it if you all want to see :D

RATS!!!! RATS!!!! RATS!!!!

I'm sooooooo scared of them. They are so evil, nasty, sick, revolting and so (x999999999999999999) horrible. :ranting: Little horrible things..

collegegirl
12-20-2005, 11:11 AM
WOW! You really don't like them. I don't like the way that cockroaches look. They have this evil little face, and very evil colors, and they run around so close to the floor, and fly in your face, and get into everything, and pop out at the weirdest places, and crawl around in the blinds late at night making a lot of noise and scaring me silly, and when they go belly up it is so discusting because even though you know it is dead, you still have to dispose of it, and they are even more evil looking belly up because they have these really skinny legs with pointy hairs on them, and they just look so evil. *shudder* Oh, and the BIG ones are so much more discusting.......http://www.qmuseum.qld.gov.au/inquiry/oddspot/giantcockies.asp

collegegirl

All4Jesus

All4Jesus

Ok it's not a syndrome. What was I thinking   I'm scared of dogs as well

collegegirl
12-21-2005, 06:29 PM
Why are you scared? A bad experience with them when you were younger? Are you scared of cats? Of Birds?

All4Jesus
12-21-2005, 07:28 PM
No not really. I'm just scared of every animal except fish, dolphins and birds. Every time I go close to dogs or any other animal I start shaking reli bad. I usually end up with a rush on my arms at the end. I don't know why but I feel real fear. I don't know what i'm scared of reli just fear in my heard.

collegegirl
12-21-2005, 07:40 PM
I TIMOTHY 1:7
For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.

If you ask Him, He can take that fear away from you, and replace it with love. In God, there is no fear, only love, and perfect love casts out all fear.

All4Jesus
12-23-2005, 12:27 PM

 you do have a point there sis

Christian-Samurai
12-30-2005, 04:17 AM
you can look at it like that sis, but remember also how cruel mankind can be and by putting animals in zoos with large enough spaces to live, which our zoo has been doing, they are trying to preserve animals for future generations also. Some animals have not been surviving in the wild very well because of deforestation and many other world changes. In some ways, Zoos are their only hope for making into the next century. It is sad fact of life. Dont worry to much though :) God is watching over his animals. :D even his wild Samurai animals lol

collegegirl
01-02-2006, 12:59 PM
LOL. I liked the comment about samurai being locked in his room. :D You have to look behind the actions of man to get the intent of the man. I think zoo's are wonderful. Yeah, so I would not like to be locked up, but many zoos give them a lot of space, and realistic invironments, and plus some of the animals are endangered, so that helps. Many of them have adapted quite well. But for killing elephants just for their tusks is wrong. A slaughter house for pigs so we can eat is iffy. I wouldn't ever like to go to one. I have heard about slaughter houses.....*yuck yuck and yuck*

While the rest of you may suffer from time to time with such conventional conditions as suriphobia, arachnephobia, entomophobia/insectophobia, acarophobia, agrizoophobia or zoophobia, I have a truly perplexing predicament.

I can't stand roaches! When I was younger of course I didn't like them but my fear of them wasn't so bad. Until, afew years back................ I had just waken up and my ear was hurting and I thought that I had felt somthing by my ear. So I asked my sister to look and she told me that there was a roach in my ear! I FREAKED OUT, I metally tried to sepperate my ear and the roach from my body till my mom could come back to the house and bring me to the doctor. The whole time i could feel it and everything, my ear was in pain. So we get to the doctors and she looks in my ear and says "No there is.... just at that time the doctor dropped the black ear thing that goes on the thing they look into the ear with.. dropped it onto the floor. WE BOTH SCREAMED thinking that it was the roach! Ughhh Then we realised it was the ear thing! Phewww So the doctor goes to look at my ear again and this time she says " No there is not a roach in your ear, there is nothing in your ear! She said that prob. a piece of my hair was earitating it when I asked my sister to look. She also said that my sister prob. needed glasses if she saw a roach in my ear!" Well to say the LEAST I was really upset with my sister! When I got home I told her about what the doctor said and she was like oh I'm sorry. I told her that she needed to ware her glasses that the eye doctor had given her, so nothing else like that happenned! To this day when she isn't wearing her glasses because she dosn't like to wear them, I remind her of the Roach insident!
But ever since then I have HATED roaches and once I know there is one in the room I have to leave til someone kills it! * Oh and just to let you know, The doctor also told me that it is almost imposible that a roach could get in someones ear!*

lol..well welcome to the Anti-Roaches Society :greetings :D  ...

i started hating roaches when i was still a kid..my sisters placed a dead roach under the chair i was sitting on..i didn't leave the chair until they took it away..seeing a roach laying upside down and seeing it cut into half with a white fluid coming out of it's body makes me whimper..well even just by looking at it makes me feel that and the feel of it crawling on ur skin  ..roaches here looks exactly like the american roaches, only that it's smaller

but i don't like killing roaches though..it's just their nature..the way they are or how they look or how they smell..when i do see one flying towards me..i just hit it with a clothe and it just becomes unconscious..

i have heard that there are people who likes eating roaches..is there anyone here who does?

I can't kill a roach, I have to usually call my sister to do it, and I wont go back into the room where it was till I am sure it's dead and even the I'm weary about it!

I personally want to thank all of you here at this society, (assuming hat I am instantaneously a member, because where I live, they are ALL OVER the place), because I have just lost my appetite. I was eating dinner while reading this, (spaghetti), and I am not really hungry any more. Now that is ONE thing that I hate: losing my appetite over something.

LOL, that is fine. I ended up finishing my dinner. I was fine. Just when I pay attention, CLOSE attention to the topic at hand is when I start loosing my appetite. I usually have a stomach of steel....but just then was an exception. I just didn't feel like eating the rest of my dinner....
