What kinds of DIY projects or ideas have you guys had lately?

Last week, I cut a swath of asphalt out of my driveway, about a 4 in wide path, 20 ft from one side to the other so I could run PVC pipe underneath the driveway for the sump pump drainage.

I installed the sump pump myself (with a bit of help from my father in law)

This week, I have to use the asphalt patch and pound it into form. Then I wait 30 days, and I can use the driveway sealer to make my driveway look nice and newish black and smooth.

Hmm... I put my new bike together on thursday, does that count? Cause that's about as much DIY as you're going to get from me ;)

My mom wants a patio in the backyard so we are doing that. First we cut and carried the sod away (I now officially hate sod) than we started shoveling away some of the dirt beneath because "we" (royal "we") want to make the patio level with the ground. Blech:ng_thumbd

Building computers, playing around with Cool Edit ( putting old children's gospel records in CD format), and working on the Church's sprinkler's system.

Yeah I have a few different ideas brewing but they all take money. I want to build a electroplating system first, and I also want to see about making a hydrogen generator.
