hey
Yah blessed I do plan to be a teacher probably high school. And also I do know Alaina Hehdrickson and all the other musicians in Cloverdale. Played up front for years.
By the way its nice to see you Ruth (in the virtuael sense), by the way everyone Ruth plays the sax she was in a band i organizes a couple years ago. HAHA

you couldn't quite call it a band, more like some musicians trying to play, but not doing so well. however, it was not fault of the director, more of the players, ahem

11-26-2005, 11:19 AM
Ah, pshaw. I don't believe that for one minute. :D
Babyruth
11-28-2005, 03:20 AM
believe me, if you heard the recording, you would shoot the computer from the terrible sound that was coming out of it.

I wouldn't be so sure, ask Nathanael, he'll tell you, if he's real honest. Otherwise, he'll just say, "We did good for our first time guys! Keep up the good work!" I quit so I wouldn't embarrass myself in front of a million people. Nathanael, he just likes the attention, lol, jk!
blessed
12-02-2005, 11:20 AM
hi nathaniel so are u going to be real honest and tell us:D

it was not that bad. If people would have come to the practices it would have been a bit better. But I thought it was a good experience. Ruth can just be little negative sometimes. haha. But it was a good experience and hope to do it again!
Babyruth
12-04-2005, 01:58 AM
I'm not negative!!!!!! I just tell the truth, unlike some people. I just wouldn't want to give anyone the impression that we were good. I had thought we were doing ok, until I heard the recording, and then I almost cried, so that's it.

Babyruth
12-05-2005, 09:39 PM
Whonder why what samurai? That it was so bad? It wasn't my fault, I practiced and played quite well for once. However, like Nathanael said, not very many people came to practices and they didn't practice. Otherwise, it would have been beautiful! It was a good song, just not played the best, however, not the worst either (how's that for positive, eh Nathanael?).

all I can say is do not despise humble beginnings. While it was'nt perfect there was definitely some good moments. Also hopefully my conducting skills have improved by now. Taking conducting right now YEAH!! :yay: Well if anyone wants to hear a recording its on www.bridemusic.org
Babyruth
12-06-2005, 03:03 AM
I agree! You did a good job, conducting is hard. It was fun; something to do in between services. Why would you want anyone to listen to it!!!!!!??????
collegegirl
12-06-2005, 11:31 PM
Well, today I met someone with a masters in conducting, and you have to be GOOD!!! I mean, you have to know about every instrument. WOW!! He knows a lot, and I mean alot. Even down to a petal harp. Yeah. He is good.
Christian-Samurai
12-07-2005, 04:27 PM
just cause you know about the instrument doesnt mean you can play it well, takes talent lol and thats not where my talent is :D
maybe i can be a conductor... I can't play anything so maybe that's where my musical calling lies.
trumpetplayer
12-07-2005, 05:56 PM
JoeC you still need to know a lot about music to conduct. And all people who have there masters play some sort of instrument. Conducting is fun as my teacher says you get to be the BOSS :yay: haha.
oh well... i'll stick to engineering :nerd: ... or business
Christian-Samurai

Joe is the boss, he is the overlord :D
