I know I'm posting a lot, but someone's gotta talk. ;)

Okay, maybe this sounds.... unnatural... for a girl, but does anyone ever get TIRED of talking on the phone? When I was in my preteens I couldn't get enough of the phone, but as I got older, it drove me nuts. Even when I was dating, my boyfriend and I almost never called each other unless it was important.

It just seems like the phone limits me. I'm a very crafty person, and it becomes difficult to hold the phone and sew a skirt at the same time. Now, I do like to talk, don't get me wrong, but I just can't stand the thought of spending most of my life on it like I used to. Am I weird??? LOL!

(I know this is an old post, but I think it can be brought back)
I don't mind talking on the phone, but I feel like I'm intrurpting someone's life by calling them. and I feel like I'm being rude when I call someone when my husband is home to talk to. I talked to him about it and he said it was okay now that we get to spend more time together, but what do you guys think?

IS talking on the phone when someone else is around rude?

I feel that way if my friends or family that i don't get to see much are there but if it's my sisters, mum or dad i'm fine with it.

I can't stand talking on the phone!!!!! It's so annoying and I feel like I'm being rude by calling because you never know if it's a good time or not. I talk very little on the phone and only if I have to. The only person I spend a lot of time on the phone with is my friend from school and it's only to do homework. We have almost all the same classes, so we do homework together over the phone. We would do it in person, but we live too far away. Although my town is small in population, it's really spread out because of all the farms and such.

Really? Most people here don't like it at all and want to leave because it's so small. I personally like it. It is pretty small, but sometimes it's more fun. I also like the big city. My grandma lives in Toronto, Ontario. I've visited her a few times and I love how you can get anywhere quickly and everything is accessible.

Yes. There are about 4 border crossings in the county I live in and the one I normally use is the Lynden border crossing. Lynden is a small city, although much larger than mine, that is about 15 min. NW from my city.
