Today started out good. I got to sleep in and we went shopping. We (my mom, me, my bro) were turning into the driveway of the shopping center, and some guy :moron: slammed into us. Our car is a 1964 Ford Maverick and his was a 1995 Honda Civic. He hit us at the right spot and crunched in the part right behind the bumper. The bumper barely got moved, but the plastic part, as strong as it is, got crunched. I was soooooooooooooooooooooooooo mad!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!! It is my car now that my dad got a new car, and was in perfect condition. The other guy didn't even slam on his brakes. We were going 5-10 miles per hour and he was going well over 30. We turned across his lane and couldn't see him because he was pretty far away, but obviously going way too fast and didn't even care that he hit us. He kept acting like it was our fault. It may be partly, but he was not watching because the guy behind him stopped way before and didn't rear-end the guy that hit us, so he obviously wasn't paying attention. Luckily I was not driving, and the guy didn't call the police because... his dinky little car had 2 scratches that blended in with the rest of his beat-up car.
I'm still very upset. He didn't even apologize. I am just shocked by the way people can't even take responsibility for their actions. It is so frustrating!!!!!! My beautiful car is now pretty mangled. It can probably be fixed, but my mom doesn't want to make a claim because she is worried that the guy will make a claim on us and we will have to pay. I keep telling her that we werent' at fault, but she is just scared. My dad is upset at the other guy too because it was his beloved car that he spend money on fixing up and making it look original. Sorry this is so long, I just needed to get it all out and now I feel a little better, not much though, especially when I think how terrible the car looks now. It's surprising how distressing it is. No one got hurt, but it's so upsetting. Anyone understand?

I understand, but not to that extent. Mom and dad got broadsided on their way to breakfast. If, all of those ifs. I will post a picture. If mom had been any lower.... The guys mustang was totalled. Mom and dad's vehicle was totalled, and it was paid off. They were terribly upset, but thank the LOrd no one was hurt.

Funny story sis, this very day also my brother got reared by a dodge durango, and it crunched the rear of his honda. He is also alright and I just got my car back last week from the shop after some lady decided that red didnt mean stop and turned into my car, she said that her mind was else where and that she was thinking about going to this one gas station that , she said didnt seel arab oil?? anyway thats the 2nd person who as hit my first new car. And I am still makeing payments on my car its an 03 ford focus. to me its a niiiiiiice car, maybe not a classic like your dads but still the value can be personal on an equal plain.
Believe me I can understand. I am so glad that no one got hurt. Praise the lord for that. I will keep you in prayer about this I am sure the Lord will work it out as he does. Place all your worries and cares upon him. Thats what he is there for :)

Thank you both very much! You know what's weird? The past couple of weeks, there have been a lot of accidents involving believers. A brother at my church got hit by a car going 70 and his car rolled and caught on fire, but he walked away with not a scratch. Then, last week, my grandpa was rear-ended at a stop sign by a teenage girl who wasn't paying attention. That proves that people are too stressed or too caught up with other things, rather than paying attention to what they are doing.
