China to me is right around the corner. and No she isnt able to come exactly. Her mom doesnt want her to come, and yet even though she is old enough to make this choice for herself. SHe does have a strong connection to her parents and I wouldnt want to break that by having her come first. So I must go there first and meet her parents and asure them that everything will be ok :)

Lol no, see i was born in the main city and lived there and my parents are in prision ministry and and we moved the capitol city cause the prisions are in there and then we went back to the main city because of my dad also worked in the prisions at the time and he got transfered to the one prision int he first city then we tryed to move to ohio where there was a a message church but it didnt work out because God said our mission wasnt done in the first city and it truely wasnt :)

As it says, it is a FAMILY camp, geared toward families. If you want something geared to youth, you need to go to Winter Youth Retreat. (Trust me, you will never regret it.) I have been to both. I love Bro. Jeff and his church, but if you are looking for what I think you are, you will want to go to Winter Youth Retreat. (Besides, you will get to meet me! :D I will be (Lord willing) going to WYR, but not family camp).

Nah. Anyone can come. There are a lot of 20+ year olds there. The age limit for coming is 16 years old. But if you want to go to Ohio Camp, it's fine by me. I just wanted to give you another option. :)

I missed your age Free, but though WYR is a youth camp, it is for mature young people. Awhile back we had the camp with three services a day, and much the same people came to that as come to WYR at only 2 services a day. I think that speaks volumes for the maturity of this group and really indicated what their real focus is.

I for one have never been dissapointed by this group - I think they're the cream of the crop!

Also, the teaching isn't like what you get at other youth camps. It is very much geared towards preparing you for the adult life and transition into marriage and responsibilites of homemaker/home provider. There is very little evangelizing here as it is assumed that most of the kids coming have already given their hearts to the Lord and, mostly, have the Holy Ghost.

Age range? Singles 16+ - I even know of a couple of 30 yr olds who come and absolutely love it!

Creature comforts: As we get older, we really appreciate these. The rooms are carpeted and only 4 - 6 ppl per room. A shower to every room. The beds are comfortable. Great heating! Hotel like accomadations! The dining room is like a resteraunt. Carpeted and with a buffet serviced by a professional chef and his crew - what else could you expect from a camp? Five ftar hotels? I consider this a five star camp! Of course, I might be biased...

If any of you do decide to go, you've got to act quick though. Deadline is the 30th of this month. I promise you, you won't regret it.
