Since no one else has noted it, I'd like to say thanks to the mod, or polymath that enabled the ability to see ALL past greens given to you, instead of just the last 5.
It's a nice feature.
Thanks!

Asking for greens, even in a subtle way, calls for reds in my opinion, even if the person in question just did something cool ;)
Come on, it was for fun man... take a little humour and try to stop knocking my rep down to your level.

Yeah, Hotshot, you are pretty much in the same boat as Joe. You're always begging for greens too. You're just a little more subtle.

Show me somewhere where I did... I know I did months ago, but reallized that wasn't fair, so I haven't done it since.... though if it's the opinion of everyone else that subtle begging is approved of, maybe I'll start doing it again to catch back up to those who do beg...
I've got very very few points for begging. Actually, I'm pretty sure I've lost more than I've gotten. So yeah, it's just for the fun - not really the points.
btw, does everyone know how to check their reps points?

I do........
And HotShot hasn't yet given me my green for signing on as co-campaign manager....no "HotShot for the people" posts until he does....

That's exploiting the reputation system.

No it's not.. I really liked her post that says she'll be my co-campaign manager ;)

Maybe according to you, but I think she got the better end of the deal.

Who got the better end of the deal doesn't matter... the person being bribed receives payment (such as a green) in return for services that they shouldn't be doing... in this case the services are fine, so it's not actually a bribe.

The only way you'd have some chance of winning is because of Alana. She bribed you for greens, and you accepted that bribe. That's how I see it.
AlanaH
09-22-2006, 03:39 PM
It's not a bribe people, and if it is, we really bribed each other. He's paying me for switching my vote and he's also paying me for all 1100 and something times 'Vote Dj in the elections' appears on this forum. But I actually think he's getting the better end of the deal. :)

I don't know. Well, whatever floats your boat. :D I'm just glad I have nothing to do with it.

Well....if you ask him very nicely, he might give you a position in his Cabinet when he gets elected.....:)

I wouldn't want it if he paid me to take it. :D

The services are fine, but the payment is not.

Nah, I could probably have won even without her... but every bit helps to insure the victory ;)

Let's just say that you need all the insurance you can get. :D

"Now BroTrevor, this is not a campaigning stage and there is no audience assembled. Please remove your dissenting attitude from the premises. Thank you very much."
Lol....I love being a campaign manager. Just so you know. :D

dissenting??
I was not dissenting at all. Merely trying to remind my opponent of a scriptural reference I believed would benefit him.

Are you pronouncing destruction on Hotshot, Bro Trevor?
... 'cause that's the verse!!
Or, not pronouncing, but reminding...
Back to the original subject, I noticed that I could view all my greens, too! It's great. But it wasn't until I deleted some random "subscribed threads" (seriously... WHO is subscribing me to CLOSED threads??) that I could see them all, so I thought it was something you could turn on & off.
But since it's now proved otherwise, thanks to whoever changed it!!
(And I wouldn't have a clue who that would be, so how am I sposed to give greens for it??)

I do believe the correct person might be Joe...seeing as he's the one who does this sort of thing...
<Sigh> I wish I didn't have to spread rep to five other people before giving rep to this one post. It's not my fault that this person posts really well...oh well.
