Hi guys and gals,
Just a reminder. Remind all your friends. Shout it from the rooftops. Post it on your grocery store bulletin board...you get the message!
If you ride a bike on the street or highway, you ride WITH the flow of traffic. If you are walking, you walk AGAINST the flow of traffic.
The other day, I almost had an accident caused by a bicyclist going the wrong way, and a few minutes later by a walker walking the wrong way!
...And we have bike lanes and sidewalks in my city!

Yeah, I found that out when I went to take my test for my learner's. Now I try to adhere to it. It is safer that way. As for the most part, I don't think that we have bike lanes in out city. Just sidewalks, and no where that you would really want to bike around, except the quiet neighborhoods, and maybe on campus, that is, for girls anyways.

Well, maybe you could talk to the local gov to see what could be done. Maybe they would actually do it themselves. Just include the word "please", please.

The first time i learned to ride a bike was really disastarous. i got on my brothers bike and decided to start to learn from the top of a hill where i live. Not a good idea at all i went sprawling down the hill, the brakes was not working so u all could imagine what happened.

Thank God our yard was fenced i went straight into the fence and the front of the bike turned right in my neighbours laughed at me for weeks.

When I first learned how, we were with relatives, and I was getting good. I was up on a "big" bike, and we were riding in their neighborhood, and I ended up riding right into someone's mailbox. :champion: The bad thing was, they were pulling into their driveway right as it happened. :D

I have a bumper sticker that says, "If you don't like the way I drive, then stay off the sidewalks." Ok. I don't really. :) But it sounded good.

Haha, well, you know that that is the oldest joke when it comes to new drivers, staying off the sidewalks.
